Dan Taber launched his professional music career at age fifteen when he landed a gig in a Led Zeppelin tribute band. It wasn’t long before he was expanding his horizons into jazz and classical music. He is a cum laude graduate of the Music Conservatory at Purchase College, where he enjoyed studying songwriting, orchestration, and advanced music theory. Dan spent twenty years performing across the greater New York City area, in theater and venues including Joe's Pub and the Lion's Den in Manhattan. Known for his versatility, he’s happy to teach various genres in a non-judgmental manner to students of all ages. When he’s not making music, Dan likes to write, play soccer, and travel.
