Anna is thrilled to join the MCMC community as a piano instructor. Anna currently works at Red Clover Children’s Center in Middlebury and is excited to fill more of her time with teaching and music. She began studying piano as a child growing up in Athens, Ohio, and in high school she moved to Vermont and began taking lessons with Bryan Kirk in Glens Falls, NY. Throughout these studies, she attended a variety of music camps, including Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in Michigan and Westminster Piano Camp in New Jersey, where she honed her piano performance skills and expanded her repertoire. She also has considerable experience as a piano accompanist for church choirs and musicals.

Though she also played violin through high school and dabbled in guitar, voice, and organ, piano has always been where her musical passion lies. After graduating from Haverford College with a B.A. in Psychology, she began teaching piano to young beginners. She looks forward to building her studio at MCMC with students of all ages and playing an active role in the town’s musical community.
