-What makes our mission meaningful to you?
Music has played an important role throughout my life and so many of my personal experiences and friendships have revolved around the shared experience of music.

-What are some of your prior board leadership experiences?
I previously served on the board of the Rising Lotus Children's Village, a safe home for orphans and disadvantaged children in Nepal. In addition to complete care, RLCV offered hope of escaping the cycle of poverty through a rigorous and quality education program

-What skills, connections, resources, and expertise do you have to offer and are willing to use on the behalf of the organization?
My background in event design and organization and bringing people together around a shared purpose have been a great resource to bring to MCMC. In addition, my deep connection to the community where I grew up and chose to move back to raise my family has given me great passion in helping build a place that grows confidence in children and unites us all.

-Do you have personal aspirations that could be enhanced by board service?
I have worked in the corporate world since I graduated from college and it's greatly important for me to plug into my local community and provide service to a non-profit that I feel passionate about.

-What motivates you?
Seeing my own children find wonder, beauty and fulfillment in learning and creating something with their bodies.
