Dates: Fridays 3/28, 4/4, 4/11, 4/18
Time: 4-5 pm
Prerequisites: No prior experience with fiddling is necessary, but participants should have experience playing for at least a year and/or be in Suzuki, book 2, and have at least rudimentary music reading ability.

Join celebrated Vermont violinist / fiddler David Gusakov (VSO) and MCMC for an exciting Introduction to Fiddle Workshop! This four-class workshop will explore how fiddling is different from classical playing, typical fiddling bowing, drones, double stops, and much more! We’ll learn through playing various kinds of fiddle tunes that will be handed out at each session: reels, jigs, hornpipes, etc.
Tuition: $120, there is also a one-time $45 enrollment fee, if you are new to the MCMC community.
