Auditions are for new students who have not attended Chamber Music Camp before.

All auditions should be submitted in video format. Please use a computer, phone, tablet, or camera to record. The purpose of this audition submission is to ensure that the student has the appropriate skill level to be successful at camp.

Returning campers do not need to submit a video.

Please submit your videos as soon as possible and no later than June 1, 2025. Please email them to Chamber Music Camp Director Ron White: ronwhite@mcmcvt.org.

Please submit two separate videos following the details below:

Video One: Scale

Please submit one video of the student performing a two octave scale. Perform the scale at quarter note = 60.

Please submit one two octave scale. Choose from F, C, G, D.

At the start of the video, please state your name, instrument and scale.

Example: Ron White, double bass, One Octave G Major

Video Two: Performing a Piece

Please submit one short video of the student performing a section of a solo, band piece, etude, district etude, or method book.

State your name, instrument and the piece. Please include the letters or measure numbers of the excerpt.

Example: Ron White, double bass, Gavotte from the 3 rd Cello Suite, Measures 1 –20.
